From a young age, Damaris Gomara Salcines and Luis Gomara were inspired by their father, an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Cuba who taught them the importance of caring for others. Following in his footsteps, both siblings became doctors themselves, graduating together from Boston University Dental School in the early ’90s. With a shared vision, they opened their first small dental practice in South Florida, working out of a single chair provided by a generous local doctor. That humble beginning set the stage for what would become a family-driven practice built on trust, compassion, and exceptional care over the next 30 years. Today, Damaris’ eldest son, Dr. AJ Salcines who followed in his mother’s footsteps in going to dental school and becoming an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and his wife, Dr. Claudia Salcines, a Pediatric Dentist, are a part of the family practice.
